HISTORY
Réserve de Charmigny is a 22 hectares vineyard which have been cultivated by the Mahieu family for four generations. Here, the clay & limestone terroir has given fine and elegant expression of the Chenin variety.

Temperate climate at the cross road of the oceanic and continental climate. Strong influence of the Loire.

WINE MAKING
Gentle pneumatic pressing, settling, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Regular stirring. The wine is bottled after a light filtration in early spring.

TASTING NOTES
This wine is Half-dry and shows a pale tint with green hues. Its nose reveals aromas of citrus, apple, peach and white owers. In mouth, it is lively and fresh.
Great association with seafood, cheeses (Loire valley goat cheese especially), white meats as well as sour-sweet exotic meals.
