Tasting Notes:   A balanced and sleek wine, with sliced plums and berries and hints of cloves and nutmeg. Full-bodied, with soft tannins and a fresh finish.

Food Pairings:   Stewed red meats and grilled oxtail, Mediterranean food, and simple classics like eggplant parmesan.

Grape Variety:   100% Sangiovese Grosso

Alcohol Level:   14.5%

Vinification:   Fermentation inside stainless steel containers, aging in Slavonian oak barrels for over 36 months and then 8 months of bottle aging before release.

Notes/Facts:   Brunello di Montalcino, a great classic renowned all over the world, and was the first Italian wine to obtain DOCG recognition. Today, it is vinified using the most advanced wine-making technologies but Celestino Pecci maintains the classic traditions of the area with modern winemaking skill.
