FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Philadelphia, PA – Palateur Imports has announced its agreement to represent the small batch bourbon and rye line of Kentucky Bourbon Distillers in the state of Pennsylvania. Kentucky Bourbon Distillers is a small, family owned distillery run by the Kulsveen family of Bardstown, Kentucky, the “Bourbon Capital of the World”. Says Kate Moroney, Vice President of Business Development for Palateur, “we are thrilled to represent KBD in PA…the history of distilling in the United States is intertwined between Kentucky and Pennsylvania given the Whiskey Rebellion of the late 1700’s and the migration of distillers towards the south…we are proud to be part of the modern small batch era and to bring small batch Kentucky back to Pennsylvania.” One of Palateur’s premier accounts will be Village Whiskey, a new “whiskey bar” offering from the Garces Restaurant Group who will feature most of the line from KBD. Misconduct Tavern, a center city favorite for local professionals, has inserted KBD’s “Johnny Drum” Private Stock bourbon into their line up. Drew Kulsveen from Kentucky Bourbon Distillers says, “we are excited to work with Palateur in Pennsylvania, they share our philosophy in the industry and together in working with the PLCB we all look forward to getting select products on the shelves for bourbon lovers in PA and in the great bars of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh”.
